Culture Venture is providing advice and support to the artistic council preparing the bid for Narva and the Virumaa region as a candidate for European Capital of Culture 2024. Located in the far east of Estonia, Narva is on the Russian border and has a majority Russian-speaking population.
The process of candidacy is creating an opportunity to rethink the development and regeneration of the region not just for the year of the title but for a whole decade.
